Loved it, loved it, loved it! Although it seemed everyone had the same idea - dinner and drinks at Chicago Uno (right across from the theater) and then the movie. I met a lot of moms at Chicago Uno in the same boat as my friends and me - happy to have a night out with the girls :)

SATC fans can not be disappointed! The audience was great... lots of cheers, and a few of us clucking "Mr. Big" at one point. The group attending the opening day of the movie were true fans and there was a "no holds barred" as Samantha would say emotion in the room. My crew included my Mom and my sisters... everyone over in our group was over 21 and I was thankful!! Gotta love HBO!!

Kate,
True confession: I've never seen a single episode of Sex and the City (have to save something for my dotage).
Yet I have every intention of seeing - and enjoying - this movie with my friends.
I only go to "fun" movies, like Indiana Jones or Enchanted. I am well aware of the pain and misery in the world, and I don't need to see it recreated on the big screen.
Give me escapism, fantasy, chick filcks. Reality can wait until later.
diane
