Kate and Kymberli - I'm so glad you enjoyed it :) My son woke up after I wrote this post and said, "I think Grandma got three strikes last night." And when I said, "So do you think she won?," he said, "Yea," with a big smile on his face. :)

This was such a sweet story :-) It's also a great way for you and your boys to remember your mom in a happy way, how wonderful! I appreciated how you told this story :-)

Love this post for two reasons:

1) It's great twist on something I remember from childhood. (I've shared your sweet story with four coworkers today -- big storms went through this morning here...)

2) It reminds me -- and I need reminding -- that every post needn't be long nor pre-thought to death. Brief tidbits are more powerful, when well-told.

Thanks for brightening my day!

Kymberli Mulfords last blog post..<a href="http://kmulford.edublogs.org/2008/05/30/diving-in-headfirst/" rel="nofollow">Diving In, Headfirst!</a>
