I've only been pulled over for speeding once, the first time I drove across Wisconsin by myself, and I went into a construction zone without realizing it while trying to find my turn off. I wasn't even doing 65, so I was actually underspeeding for what I _thought_ the limit was, but was well over the 55 of the construction zone. I was so flustered that the officer must have taken pity on me and only gave me a warning. Yours should have done the same. Speeding tickets should be for people who are intentionally breaking the law, not people who just got flustered and made a mistake.
