Ok, this giveaway is just AWESOME and if I were eligible I’d be madly entering right now to try to win this for my friend who’s due next month. Alas, I can’t enter, but YOU can!
Now, I haven’t tried this product - Rachael is going to be testing it when her little one comes this winter and will give you a full product review then. However, we just couldn’t wait to do the giveaway, so here it is:
We’re giving away 1 Serena & Lily Market Sling - valued at $129.
Yup, that’s right - one of the hottest baby products out there right now, so hot it was even featured in the June 25th issue of People magazine! I loved wearing my babies, so I’m just SO jealous of anyone who wins this.
The product description on the website states:
Our signature slings are crafted with beautiful hand-embroidery on 100% organic cotton* with a super-soft brushed interior that is gentle against baby’s delicate skin. The simplified design - one seamless piece of fabric without buckles, belts or straps - is snug, sleek and easy to wear.
The sling comes in three color combinations - Grass/Marigold, Flax/Sky Blue, and Cloud/Petal - and 3 sizes.
The website gives a great description on how to measure to decide which size will fit.
How to enter:
This is pretty darn easy - all you need to do is:
1) Take a look at the Serena & Lily website and pick the color you like best
2) Make a comment here telling which color you would like if you won and
3) What you like about the sling and
4) Who would benefit from the sling if you won - you? a daughter? a friend?
Gain another entry by tweeting about the contest - then reply to @thismommygig telling that you did so.
Contest open to U.S. entrants only - so sorry!
Contest will be open until August 1st.
Winner is picked by a random number generator and winner will be notified by email within 1 day of winning. If winner doesn’t respond within 48 hours of email being sent, a new winner will be chosen.

I like the Flax/sky blue color.I would be the one benefiting from the sling. My baby will be born in a month or so and I know I would love having something safe and easy to carry him in.
I love the Grass/Marigold - so bright and cheery! I would love to give this to a friend who is expecting her first baby- it would make the perfect gift! I didn’t have a sling when my sons were babies and I think I really missed out- these look so comfortable and easy to use!
The flax/sky one is nice. I like slings more neutral in color. I have a ring sling, and ergo, and now a hip hammock. This one looks like it would be easy to get the baby in and out of. I really like the hip hammock but it’s a bit of an ordeal getting him in and out. I don’t see an age range on the sling. Can it be used on a 12 month old? If so, I’d use it for myself. If not, I’d probably give it to my neice who has a baby younger than mine.
Michelle
I’ve always wanted one of these!!! I would get the green, as that’s my son’s color
And it would benefit me since the carrier we have doesn’t work because my son has special needs and is too big to face me but doesn’t have enough control to face outwards. This would be perfect for trips to the store, especially since our carseat doesn’t go in carts, either
I like the grass/marigold because it actually stands out and would actually look good with an outfit! =) With our first child, we used the bjorn, which was great, but often a huge sweat producer. This sling would be a bit more user friendly as we are having baby #2. I think anything that can make a mom feel hip and cool is a plus!
It is a very simply-pretty sling. My best friend is having a baby around mid-September and I think that she would really love it in the cloud/petal scheme.
Michelle -
I looked into this, here’s your answer:
“It does depend on the baby. Larger babies do fit in the sling, but we usually recommend that a younger baby be carried in it. I think an employee has a 9 month old baby, and she said it was just right. Any bigger and it wouldn’t work.”
Hope this helps!
For bigger babies, I’ve used a ring sling from NoJo. If you try to do an online search for it, you’ll come up with a bewildering variety of products — I think this is the one that usually sells at the sixty-dollar price point. It’s easy to adjust, it accommodates kids up to about thirty pounds, and it’s almost indestructible. Also, it comes in colors that fathers can wear without too much embarrassment.
I like the Flax/sky blue color. my sister would be the one benefiting from the sling. My nefew will be born in a month or so and I know He would love having something safe and easy to carry him in. and She would love to look so cool and comfy.

I love the fabric Aqua/Orange Club Stripe.
I would use it for Ava and her new sister on the way!
Sometimes Ava likes to be carried, this would help me to be hands free at times.
thanks
All the colors are lovely, but I like the cloud/petal sling which is great for both boys and girls and since my close friend just had preemie twins - a boy and a girl - this would be perfect for her! Especially considering she already has a 3 yr old and a Great Dane “puppy” underfoot. She needs as many free hands as she can get! Not to mention this pretty and stylish sling will lend her that extra bit of confidence all new moms need. I personally loved wearing my son and this sling looks much easier and more comfortable than my Mama’s Milk sling.
Thanks for the great contest, wonderful sling and awesome blog! Thanks!
Love the colore Cloud/Petal!!!Looks very comfortable! Quality!
I would use this for my new niece as I help babysit!!
I like the flax/skyblue color for myself. I’m about to have our second child and this will come in handy
I like that it would sit naturally on the body without a lot of discomfort for you or the baby
Great giveaway! I hope i’m the lucky winner
I like the grass/marigold one myself. And I LOVE how cute it is. I didn’t use a sling with either of my first two kids, and I definitely want to with my next one. I would totally be benefiting from this, now way am I sharing. LOL.

I absolutely love the Grass/Marigold sling. It looks comfortable and is stylish enough to wear all day and would be put to great use as I’m soon expecting baby #3.
I like the flax/sky blue color. I’ve been coveting these slings as I prepare for baby boy #2 to arrive sometime in September. So beautiful! So practical! I’m definitely going to need a hands free option so I can snuggle baby and continue to keep up with my 2-year-old! So I believe me, my son, and new baby would all benefit from winning this contest.
I love the grass/marigold you have shown - this is seriously the prettiest sling I’ve seen! I’ve been shopping a lot of for slings…I’m having a baby on Tuesday so she is the one (along with me) who would benefit. I have a toddler and have a feeling that a sling freeing up a hand or two will be invaluable!
Michelles last blog post..Last baby watch 2008 update
I LOVED wearing my daughter (now2) but I think this sling is much prettier than any other carrier I’ve seen! I think I would choose the marigold since it’s very gender neutral and we are currently trying to get pregnant. These slings are just so pretty and look safe, too.
I love the grass/marigold color comb! My favorite thing about this sling is that it looks so great! (It might actually “dress up” some of my outfits!)
As I have a 3 mo. old daughter, this sling would definitely be used (a lot!) by me. So please pick me, Mr. Random Generator…pretty please!
I would love the grass/marigold sling for myself; our second little girl is arriving in just a few months, and I’d love something to make myself a little more hands free! I love how simple the design is — simplicity is always key!
sarahs last blog post..Three Years
I love the grass/marigold color. I would hopefully be the one benefiting as my husband and I are trying for our first baby. I think it would be great to have a way to take my baby around without having to lug a carseat and/or stroller.
Jens last blog post..Oh…right…thats why I’m medicated
I LOVE this sling! I would want the flax/ sky blue. I’ve been wanting a sling for my 2 month old. This is by far the coolest looking sling.
Meliss last blog post..You Can’t Believe Everything You Read
I love the Flax/Sky Blue! The design of this sling looks great - contoured and adjustable, easy to wear and to opo baby in and out of. I would love to own this sling! I have a new baby who I have to wear a lot, as I’m also chasing a rowdy toddler around and homeschooling my 9 year old! So baby and myself would benefit.
melissas last blog post..Yeah?
I love the grass/marigold and it would totally be for me. I’m selfish like that. Slings have become a daily necessity with baby #4. I don’t have one this pretty, though….
i love the grass/marigold combination! if i didn’t use it, it would definitely go to a friend of mine due in december.
thanks! this is so generous!

I would love the cloud/ petal sling. It is so pretty and it is awesome to have both your hands free. I actually have one for my baby already and am trying to win one for my best friend who is also pregnant with her first baby. It would be awesome walking around like twins ourselves!!!
I love the grass.marigold. Wow!
I would love the grass.marigold. Wow! My friend Sarah just had twin boys - she would benefit - my youngest is four! Although it’s pretty enough to be worn as an accessory… even without a baby!
I like that it is simple - yet gorgeous.
Gorgeous !
Flax/sky blue ….
Our youth pastor’s wife is a baby wearer every Sunday.

I’d choose a “cloud” color. When I used a sling, it was a ring sling and much trickier to maneuver. I’ll give it to my s-i-l, due with her second baby.
The Cloud/Petal combination is gorgeous! I’m due in about 6 weeks, and it would be great to have a sling for the baby (leaving my arms free for the toddler!)

The Grass/Marigold color is perfect!
I love that it is made from organic cotton-too cool!! I love how stylish it is too and it looks so comfortable and simple- perfect for my great friend who just had their second precious little one…
First of all, these are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
1) which color you would like if you won? GRASS/MARIGOLD
3) What you like about the sling? NO BUCKLES, BELTS OR STRAPS
4) Who would benefit from the sling if you won? HOPEFULLY ME
I love the grass/marigold. If I won I would give this sling to my sister who is expecting her first child later this year. The colors of the sling are very similar to the colors my sister picked out for her wedding a few years ago. I used a sling with all three of my children and I would love for my sister to be able to do the same with her child. Its such a great way for parent and child to bond during the first few months of the child’s life. Plus, my sling was such a life saver for me when my children where babies.
The grass/marigold is gorgeous! I’d love to wear my son in that beautiful sling.
I am a huge fan of the grass/marigold color because of the organic materials used, as well as the serene and beautiful pattern and overall appearance. I would be giving this sling to my best friend, who is currently pregnant with her first born and hasn’t the slightest clue in where to start with quality products.

I like the grass/marigold one. Actually, I like all of them, but I don’t know whether I’m having a boy or girl so I’ll take the grass green one. We’re all redheads anyway so that will definitely work. I will be the beneficiary, since I’m due in January. I love the fact it has no buckles to dig in or come undone. The brushed fabric inside sounds like it would be super-comfy for the baby as well.
I love the flax/sky blue sling. I love slings and use them regularly with DC#3 (3 months). It enables me to have my hands free for DS1 and DD. This one looks pretty comfortable - I like the design of the pouch and the design. It would be for me.
absolutely the flax and sky blue sling; it’s gorgeous! it’s for me; just had a teeny baby girl june 9 and she isn’t happy unless she’s being held . . . the sling would give me both hands back — and is so chic too . . .
Okay, this is the cutest thing! Wish I had one when I had babies. Or, can I still put my 2 year old in it?! Ha ha. Anyway, I am loving the grass/marigold combo. Darling! I want it for my dear friend who is expecting a baby after years of fertility treatment and lots of struggling times….a baby is finally on the way to them!! Would love to pamper her with one of these awesome slings and make her a hip momma!
I adore the grass because orange is my fav color and the green would look so great with it! This sling looks super comfy for baby AND mom (a hard combo to find in baby wearing). If I were to win, my darlingest DD would be cuddled by me and hubby in style. Fun to even think about!
Jacquelines last blog post..How to Order…
This sling looks great! My favorite part is no straps or buckles. I currently own 2 slings that are so hard to use and leave my shoulder in great pain after a few minutes. I would love one in cloud/petal if I won! I would use it for my next baby and my sister would be able to use it in the meantime!
I LOVE this sling. I actually saw it when it was in People magazine and would just love to own it. I love the Grass/Marigold color. Green is my color. If I win, my next little baby would be the one to benefit. We are planning to have another one next Spring or Summer. I had a sling with Chloe but it was not nearly this beautiful!
Christis last blog post..My Granny
My favorite color combination is the flax sky blue. I love how it’s neutral enough to go with most anything and would work for a boy or girl. My daughter LOVES to be carried, and this would be a great addition to my small but well loved carrier collection.

Hello there!! I love the flax/sky blue. Why? Because they’re my fav colors. It will be given to my lovely daughter for her new baby coming in September! She already has mentioned to me that she wants a sling and I’ve been looking for one. This one is Gorgeous!! I love it that she will be able to nurse her new baby easily anytime and anywhere using this sling!
Jodys last blog post..Down the Shore!
I love the grass.marigold color. I think the design is really cool looking and looks very practical at the same time. I just had a baby girl two and half weeks ago and was just thinking today how much I needed a sling to help me during the day while I’m getting stuff done.
I love this sling because it looks so well-made and sturdy compared to some slings that I have seen. The colors are gorgeous and I would love to win the cloud/petal combination, beautiful! The sling would be for me! I’m 7 1/2 weeks pregnant and didn’t wear my 1st and would love to give babywearing a try with number 2! Thanks so much for offering this!
I love the grass.marigold. It is simply lovely. The sling is exactly what a sling should be: functional, comfortable, and beautiful. I have a 4-month old that I want to “wear” but I’ve had a hard time finding a sling I like. I’m all for winning this one!
Elizabeths last blog post..Success!
I love the cheerful grass/marigold color! It’s beautiful! I never found a sling I actually liked when I had my first baby, but I would totally wear and benefit from this one! My next baby and I would both benefit! I love that it’s so beautiful and simple, yet functional.

I would love to win the sling for my sister in law. My favorite color is flax/blue sky. It would be great for her to be hands free.
I’d love to win the green one pictured. It’s a gorgeous color and I love the embroidery and the simple design.
I’d be using it myself as I’ due with my second in December!

I like the grass/marigold.
The details on this sling are just beautiful.
I would wear my 2 week old daughter. This is my fourth baby and my first time using a sling. I love using the sling and need to add to the one we have now since my husband is taking it over!
Love the grass/marigold one! Our fifth child, two month old Chase, would be the beneficiary (me too!) I love the color of the sling and the fact that there aren’t any loops/buckles to fiddle with,
Thanks,
Hannah

I like the grass/marigold tone and the fact that it is sized by height is great! I am tall and many traditional slings don’t work well for me. I would like the sling for our next baby (I have a very heavy 9 month old now!) which we are will be on the way in the next few months!
Rachaels last blog post..Rockin’ that Summer Reading List
I love the flax/sky blue one. The detail is wonderful and I like the idea of carrying the baby in a sling. My son and I would benifit from this as I am due any day. What a wonderful baby gift this would be.
What a great giveaway! I love the flax/sky blue sling and it’s simple detail and lack of hardware. I’d love to give this a whirl myself, on my little bambino due next March!
Aimees last blog post..Sunday Sustenance
It would be incredibly hard to choose - they are all beautiful. But I like the cloud/petal one the best. I like the sling because it looks a little more unique than the other slings that I have seen, but not to pattern-y that it won’t match anything. I could totally benefit from this! I’m due with my fourth girl in a couple of months.
I really like the flax/sky blue! I have never tried wearing my babies before so this would benefit my baby (and me), I just found out i was pregnant last week! I like how simple and stylish it is all at the same time.
The grass/marigold is definitely the winner for me!! I’ve been searching and searching for a cute sling that keeps pressure off my back and I cannot believe there is a giveaway! Right up my ally! I am expecting my first child (Carter James) this October and he and I will be the one benefiting from the sling. I just love the design! It’s not too much pattern, it’s just right.
Saras last blog post..3-d pics
My favorite is the grass and marigold but the cloud and petal would be the favorite for my sister-in-law who this would be for. She is currently adopting a premmie baby.
Wow!! I absolutely love the Grass/Marigold one. I love that these are made with organic cotton… it just looks very comfortable. If I were to win one, I would give it to my sister-in-law who is pregnant with her first baby! I’m pretty sure though that it would end up back in my hands when it’s my turn to have a little one!
Love the grass/marigold. The 100% organic cotton is perfect for my little 2-month-old and his sensitive skin.
I love the grass colored sling. I was just checking it out on the Serena & Lily site yesterday because I love that it’s designed in pretty way and not so bohemian-looking. Plus, it’s not just a long strip of cloth that I have to figure out how to properly wrap and tie to keep baby comfy and safe. I think both my newborn daughter and I would benefit from using it.
All the colors are great but for me the Cloud/ Petal may be the best. This sling is absolutely gorgeous! It’s the nicest one I’ve ever seen. Also, that it is 100% Organic Cotton makes it the perfect sling. My newborn daughter (Born July 8th!) and I would be benefitting if we are graced with winning. It will be worn around our fashionable neighborhood on Melrose in Los Angeles. Oh, the comfort, style and joy of having baby close to my heart!
I love the grass/marigold color! I have a 4-month old baby who loves her sling and this one looks so soft and comfy. The organic cotton would be great for her sensitive skin too.

I love the grass/marigold color! Its so pretty!
I really really like how it is organic cotton.
Being the greedy guts that I am I would love it for myself! I’m due on Christmas day with #2 and although I love my moby wrap I would really like to try something different
I love the cloud/petal! I love that the sling is made out of organic cotton. Organic cotton is SO soft. I would definitely benefit from this! I only have one sling, and it is uncomfortable.
